The Daily Question with Gwen Hayes

Daily Question: If Netflix only carried three television series (past or present) what would you hope they would be?

A new feature on the site is going to be our (yours and mine) Community Journal using a The Daily Question. A question of the day to spark your inspiration.Every day, I’ll post a question of the day. Take a minute to answer it. Honesty is appreciated, but this isn’t a private space, so keep that in mind when posting your reply.  This isn’t meant to be hard work or homework or anything. You can post your answer and leave if you like, treating it like a journal entry. Or you can hang around and discuss the topic with others as they answer. There isn’t a right or wrong way.

Gah. Three TV shows only. Hmmm.
General Hospital….I don’t watch it anymore, but I still keep up on it on the blogs once in awhile. And I loved it so much in the early 90s. I’d love to go back and rewatch it from the beginning when it was in black and white.
Friends… The the writing, the comedy, the clothes, just everything about the show.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer… It was really hard to choose just one just we can show but that’s the one.
Of course, I have Friends and Buffy the Vampire Slayer on DVD, but I’m doing this exercise in the spirit of its intention.
Also, I dictated this reply into my Dragon software and I’m pretty impressed that it knew to capitalize Dragon and Buffy the Vampire Slayer without me telling it to. PS my Dragon’s name is Moira.

Buffy for me too. Then I’m gonna have to go with Designing Women. I loved that show with the fire of a thousand suns back in the day. I wonder if it would stand up. Even if not, the shoulder pads would be enjoyable. Third is…I dunno. There were a lot of shows I enjoyed but not that many that I feel compelled to rewatch. Maybe Battlestar Galactica.
